Don’t Miss the Holiday Train Show

Two More Chances to See the Trains and Support the Foundation
Tuesday, December 28, 6-8 pm
Tuesday, January 4, 6-8 pm

Many thanks to Gulfport Senior Center Foundation supporters Bill & Betty Drexler for opening their garage for a showing of Bill’s annual Christmas Train display. This was such a popular and successful event that Bill has scheduled two more showings. Everyone is invited. Bill shares his hobby with the community every year to showcase the talents of Gulfport’s amazing senior population.

While you’re there, please consider making a donation to support the Foundation’s mission to raise and distribute funds that support and enhance health, educational, social and recreational programs and services of the Gulfport Multipurpose Senior Center. Attendees at the first “open garage” display donated $288. Donations will also be accepted at both evening events.

The train show is located at 5314 10th Avenue South Gulfport. For more information call 407-908-5868.

Bill told Robert Boyd of ABC Action news at the first “open garage” display that he’s “been collecting these trains since I was a child. “Most of these trains were my trains as a child. They’re 60-years-old, some of them are older than me, they are in their mid-70s.”
