Mary Shelley - the Mother of Modern Horror
and Author of Frankenstein

A Riveting One-Woman Performance by Nan Colton

Step back into the stormy summer of 1816 on the shores of Lake Geneva. Amid thunderclaps and candlelight, a teenager named Mary Shelley gave birth to a literary monster—and redefined horror forever.

In this electrifying solo performance, celebrated actress and playwright Nan Colton embodies the bold and brilliant Mary Shelley. Through vivid storytelling and emotional intensity, you’ll be transported into a world of political revolution, romantic rebellion, and scientific awe—all of which shaped the creation of Frankenstein.
