Congratulations, Bevery Newcomb

Beverly Newcomb, who retired from the Foundation Board of Directors on December 31, 2020, recently accepted the Spirit of Gulfport award on behalf of herself and her late husband Bob. The award was presented by Mayor Sam Henderson and Vice Mayor Christine Brown with a portrait of Bob by local artist Ray Domingo looking on from the background.

Bev and Bob moved to Gulfport 14 years ago and were active in the community ever since. They both served on the Foundation Board and Bev was among the Founders of the Gulfport Neighbors. She also served as co-treasurer of the Boca Ciega Yacht Club. Bev still volunteers every week at the Fitness Center.
