Chair-ity Auction Raises $7,000 for the Foundation

Auctioneer Phil Bailey kept the crowd going as 10 hand-painted wood Adirondack chairs went to the highest bidder, raising more than $7,000 for the Gulfport Senior Center Foundation. Ten Gulfport artists each painted a chair in a theme of their choice.

Karen Love, coordinator of the Best Seat in the House, A Chair-ity Fundraiser, says she hopes this will be an annual event.
