On September 15 at 2pm , Zach and the Spitfire posse will help raise money for a good cause. Get Ready for Hilarious and Unpredictable Improv Comedy at the Catherine Hickman Theater! Enjoy an afternoon of laughter in support of the Gulfport Senior Center Foundation’s Building Commitment Fund. Improv comedy is a one-of-a-kind experience where the audience plays a crucial role in shaping the show. Unlike scripted performances, improv relies entirely on spontaneous audience participation. It’s “built for you … built by you,” says Zach Mouriz, owner of Spitfire Comedy House.
Audience members will shout out ideas and experiences from their lives, inspiring the cast to create spontaneous, short scenes right on stage. This ensures every performance is fresh and relevant to all ages, from 19 to 90. For the first time, Spitfire brings its popular “Who’s Line Is It Anyway?” style show to Gulfport for a Sunday matinee at 2 PM, perfect for after lunch or before supper. General admission ticket holders can warm up with cast members in the lobby before the theater opens for seating.

VIP guests will enjoy early access, prime parking, and an exclusive series of up-close-and-personal improv warm-up games inside the theater. VIPs also receive a free drink and a swag bag sponsored by Moore Insurance Options, AETNA, and Archwell Health. Sponsors will be available in the lobby before and after the show to provide information about their services for seniors.
Tickets are $25 for general admission and $45 for VIP. Purchase tickets at the Gulfport Senior Center Foundation office (9:30 AM – 1 PM, Monday-Friday) or at the Gulfport Beach Bazaar. The box office opens at 1 PM. The VIP pre-show runs from 1:10 to 1:30 PM, with doors opening for general admission at 1:30 PM.  Online tickets are available on Eventbrite with a small convenience fee. spitfireimprov.eventbrite.com
