The generosity of individuals, groups, businesses and sponsors from in and outside Gulfport has allowed the Foundation to help the Senior Center provide a higher quality of services and programming that otherwise would not have been possible.

Mission Statement
Raise and distribute funds that support and enhance health, educational, social and recreational programs and services of the Gulfport Multipurpose Senior Center.
The Foundation’s Vision
- To collaborate with the Senior Center to create an environment that facilitates positive aging.
- To modernize the Senior Center facility to meet community needs.
- To support programs and services that attract and engage the senior community in an active, socially rewarding lifestyle.
The Foundation has operated with a volunteer Board of Directors since 2004. The Foundation has a professional services contract for administrative support and uses the services of independent contractors when needed. The Foundation has almost 1,000 members and many active volunteers who share their time and talent in helping promote Foundation activities.
